A bit about me
I think one of the most important parts of my job is making people feel comfortable enough to talk openly about what's happening.
Debt can be stressful, and it's very easy to put off asking for help because you're worried about what somebody might think or what they're going to tell you.
But you don't need to feel embarrassed when you speak to me.
I'll listen, ask questions to understand your circumstances and help make the different options easier to understand.
There may be quite a lot to go through, but we don't have to tackle everything at once. We'll take it step by step and make sure you understand what's happening along the way.

I'm embarrassed about my debt. Will I be judged?
No.
People experience financial difficulties for all sorts of reasons, and you're certainly not the only person to have found yourself struggling.
I'm here to understand your circumstances and help — not judge them.
What if I don't know exactly what I owe?
That's okay.
We'll eventually need an accurate picture of your debts to provide appropriate advice, but you don't need to know every balance before starting the conversation.
Don't let missing information stop you from asking for help.
Do I need to know which debt solution I want?
No. In fact, you should understand all the appropriate options before making that decision.
We'll consider your circumstances and explain the solutions that may be available, including their advantages, disadvantages and potential consequences.
Is the advice free?
Yes. There is no charge for speaking to us and receiving debt advice.
Some debt solutions may involve fees if you decide to enter them. Any applicable fees will be explained before you make a decision.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. We understand that your finances are personal. Information you provide will be treated confidentially and handled securely.
Do I have to proceed with a debt solution?
No.
Speaking to us doesn't commit you to anything.
